  • Screenshots you capture (processed locally, only sent to Jira when you submit)
  • Bug report content you create (title, description, steps to reproduce, etc.)
  • Page URLs where bugs are reported (only when you choose to include them)
  • Browser information (only when you choose to include it)

3. Extension Settings

  • Your preferences and custom templates (stored locally)
  • Default board and project selections
  • OpenAI API key (if you choose to use AI features, stored locally)

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

  • Authenticate you with your Jira account
  • Create bug reports in your Jira projects
  • Save your preferences and drafts locally
  • Provide AI-powered bug analysis (optional, only if you enable it)

Data Storage and Security

  • All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API
  • OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely by Chrome
  • We do not have any servers or databases - all data stays on your device
  • Screenshots and bug reports are only sent directly to your Jira instance

Third-Party Services

Atlassian/Jira

When you submit bug reports, data is sent directly to Atlassian's servers. Please refer to Atlassian's Privacy Policy for how they handle your data.

OpenAI (Optional)

If you enable AI features and provide your own API key, bug report data may be sent to OpenAI for analysis. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not:

  • Collect or store any data on our servers
  • Share your data with any third parties
  • Use your data for advertising or marketing
  • Track your browsing activity

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data stored by the extension (via Chrome's extension storage)
  • Delete all stored data by uninstalling the extension

Data Retention
